Dale Chihuly puts installation art on the map! His work with glasses simply amazing. Some stunning pieces can be seen at the excellent Glass Art Museum in Toyama: http://toyama-glass-art-museum.jp/en/ and I'm certainly going back to see it!

Disco Ninja Nr.19 - The girl who doesn't dig Kryptonese
I absolutely LOVE this piece by David Stafford, and lucky me, it's miiiiiine! The photo doesn't show all the beauty of the textures and the layers, unfortunately, but you can enjoy the visual poetry. I'm so in love right now...

Disco Ninja Nr.18 - The Introverted Cat and his Yoga Manual
Here at the Archives we rarely came across such a swell Disco Ninja candidate. The Introverted Cat has it all. Black, embroidered, fully jointed, and a yoga master. Yes, he came with his own cat yoga manual, which was... inside his head! I'm not kidding. I'm now the very proud owner of an introverted cat, and he teaches me cat yoga, 15 minutes every morning. Dreams DO come true, people!! Carina... I have no words.. thank you!

Disco Ninja Nr.15 - Paul Clowney
There is something homey and earthy about his work, I want to look at it over and over again. And more. But not everything can be put into words. More here: http://www.saatchiart.com/art/Sculpture-Tidy-Beach/170074/96109/view

Disco Ninja Nr.12 - The Little Prince
He's tiny but he could knock down any established ninja with his inner strength. Le Petit Prince is an all time favourite of mine and he will always be number one.

Disco Ninja Nr. 10 - Disco Fever
If we had a time machine... we hopped in and set the dial for April 1978. And the location Chicago / Zorine's (see pictures below). Maybe we could get a glimpse of Bette Davis and Diana Ross? Four years earlier, in 1974, and in a parallel universe ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Waterloo". Just a small detour on our way to Chicago.

Disco Ninjas Nr.8 - Those Pink Ladies on Pinterest
Who said that Ninjas were always wearing black? In fact they wear pink most of the time. Or white when they go to the disco. Oh, and most of them are ladies. But you knew that.
Go find them, here.
